LEADERSHIP

The leadership of THS National works hard to cultivate the unique culture in our organization and understands the importance to share its impacts with every person it touches. We strive to actively live our Core Values each day in order to build the best people in the industry, as well as our local communities.
THS National is a place which values timeless attributes such as customer service and friendliness; at the same time always forward-thinking, using technology to make the most efficient use of the expertise which has been gained through the years. The leadership of THS National believes growth can be had the same way it started; by finding the right people, empowering them to achieve greatness and managing to ensure the client’s needs are made the priority.

THS NATIONAL LEADERSHIP TEAM

KEVIN HIGGINS

FOUNDER

Our founder, Kevin, started THS based on his own guiding principles. A team player and hobbyist inventor, THS reflects his own love of community and discovery. As someone who touches all areas of our business, Kevin is accountable “to both no one and everyone.” The one group he is always accountable to is our customers, and his business decisions follow that philosophy. His inventive side runs parallel, and he has pushed the company towards forward-thinking mixed-use projects, regional expansion and other pivotal business decisions. In his spare time, Kevin seeks the same challenges that pepper his workday. He volunteers for veteran service projects, and is always working on an invention. His current project is an aquaponic food growth system.

BRIAN HIGGINS

CEO

Brian Higgins came to THS in October 2007, during the early days of the company. Once he took the helm of our books and backroom operations, the company quickly grew from 2-3 employees into the double digits. Nine years later he is still our major financial guide, and his equal affinities for detail and big picture operations help steer the company. Though his responsibilities are behind the scenes, Brian’s numerical knowledge lowers costs for us and our clients, making him a valuable player for our front-line image. When he’s not crunching numbers and sifting through spreadsheets, Brian likes to go boating and coach youth soccer.

WILL FISHER

VP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

For Will, communities are king. His journey to that conclusion began in college, where he lived in a run-down apartment in a shady part of town. There, he found hardworking and thoughtful neighbors who became a bit of a second family. Later in life, he hooked up with THS through local apartment organizations. Seeing our company as an opportunity to make a national impact, he was eager to jump on board. Will has never lost that spark. He is very much a motivator, a quality that serves him well in growing our business. His high influence and approachability keep us laser-focused on our mission of building communities. Will continues to serve his community through several arts and human services organizations.

STACIE EDWARDS

VP of People & Culture

Stacie may be new to the construction industry, having joined THS in late 2017, but she is not new to managing the people side of things. Believing that the people are the most important part of any business she takes pride in providing the best internal customer service that she can. Stacie appreciates THS National’s small-company feel and the opportunity to work across departments with many talented colleagues. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family playing games, traveling or watching for the 100th time all eight Harry Potter movies during the holiday season.

ADAM YARBROUGH

COO

Like many of his colleagues, Adam got started in this business at a young age. He went from working for his cousin after school to managing his own remodeling business at 19. In 2013, Adam wanted to bring his own expertise to another business, and joined the THS Team. Now, in 2022, Adam is one of our most valued leaders. As someone who has worked his way from Superintendent to Chief Operating Officer over the years, his work dedication and work ethic have been an integral part of THS's continued success. Adam rarely stops working, usually only for his wife and five kids. If he had all the time in the world, he'd probably play for the PGA. While we encourage our employees to have hobbies, we hope he doesn't get too good.

BLAINE SWARINGEN

CFO

As THS has grown, our finances have grown more and more complicated. This is where Blaine comes in. Blaine is another financial powerhouse for us, a man whose logical mind and infinite patience help slay even our most frustrating numerical gremlins. While our account managers and crews work on the front lines, Blaine repairs a foundation of his very own: our monthly books. But he’s still a people person, and can tell a joke so corny you’ll laugh and cringe at the same time. Blaine can stare at the ocean even longer than he stares at Microsoft Excel, and loves hitting the beach with family.

Just began his career at THS to play a key operational support role from the large sales in the rapidly growing region. BRETT HALSEY

Regional Development Manager

For Brett, construction has been a lifelong passion. His father introduced him to the business as a young man, and he’s done it ever since. Years later he hasn’t lost that passion for seeing a project come to fruition, for watching nails and lumber create something useful and beautiful. Brett has lived in his fair share of tiny spaces – his first apartment was “barely bigger than a jail cell” – so he understands resident comfort on a personal level. It may also be why he loves working on human-centered interior and clubhouse spaces. Even in his spare time, Brett never stops building. He assists with emergency repairs and accessibility efforts for Operation Home.
